Resources

The following resources are ones I found useful as I assembled the information presented in this website.  One book (A Latskova Haggadah) includes information compiled by other family members.  Others are good general books on the history of Judaism in Lithuania and other parts of Eastern Europe.  Additional information came from research conducted by John Drayman (a descendent of the Nachemsohn line of the family) and interviews conducted with David and Martin (“Husky”) Nemenoff, Ben and Rachel’s youngest sons.  David provided other information in writing and in casual conversations.
